Early Childhood Classes: Snack Science! (March)

In January our early childhood classes will meet weekly on Mondays, from 10-11 am, on the following dates: March 9, 16, 23, and 30.

We will explore the theme: Snack Science! In this hands-on, curiosity-filled series, young chefs become kitchen scientists as they mix, shake, melt, and taste their way through simple cooking experiments. Each class turns everyday ingredients into discoveries, helping children build early STEM thinking, sensory awareness, and problem-solving skills, all while having fun with food!

Our early childhood classes feature multi-sensory exploration, learning, and play. These classes introduce our youngest petit pâtissiers to fresh ingredients and new flavors, as well as kitchen hygiene and safety practices. Together with their chef instructor, students will select ingredients from our pantry, exploring them with all our senses. We cook simple recipes that are designed to work on fine motor skills and build confidence in the kitchen, as well as stimulate your child’s curiosity and creativity. At the end of each class, students will enjoy setting the table and sharing the fruits of their labor with friends.

One caregiver must be present for each class.
