Early Childhood Classes: Storybook cafe (June)
In June, our early childhood classes will meet weekly on Mondays and Fridays, from 10-11 am, on the following dates: June 8, 15, 22, 29 (Mondays); June 5, 12, 19, and 26 (Fridays).
We will explore the theme: Storybook Creations! In this series, young chefs bring their favorite storybooks to life through hands-on cooking projects inspired by children’s books. Each week, we’ll read a story and then cook a thematic recipe that connects to the book’s characters, setting, or plot, helping to nurture early literacy skills alongside creativity, teamwork, and other skills.
More generally, our early childhood classes feature multi-sensory exploration, learning, and play. These classes introduce our youngest petit pâtissiers to fresh ingredients and new flavors, as well as kitchen hygiene and safety practices. Together with their chef instructor, students will cook simple recipes that are designed to work on fine motor skills and build confidence in the kitchen, as well as stimulate your child’s curiosity and creativity. At the end of each class, students will enjoy setting the table and sharing the fruits of their labor with friends.
One caregiver must be present for each class.
