In Fall 2026, our classes for 9-12 year olds will meet four times for two hours, from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm, on the following dates: September 19, October 17, November 14, and December 12.
The theme for this session is Host Like a Pro! Some of life's happiest moments happen around the table. Whether it's making brunch for your family, inviting friends over for taco night, helping prepare Thanksgiving dinner, or baking treats to share during the holidays, cooking for others is a wonderful way to show creativity, kindness, and hospitality.
In this four-class series, young chefs will learn how to prepare delicious meals while also discovering what it takes to help host a memorable gathering. Students will practice planning a menu, organizing their workspace, coordinating multiple dishes, setting a welcoming table, and serving food with confidence. Along the way, they'll strengthen their culinary and baking skills while learning that sharing a homemade meal is one of the best ways to bring people together.
Each class features a different entertaining theme:
• Brunch with Friends – Prepare a delicious brunch spread featuring both sweet and savory favorites.
• Taco Tuesday – Create a fun taco bar with homemade toppings, flavorful sides, and a special dessert.
• A Thanksgiving Gathering – Cook classic holiday dishes while learning how to prepare and serve a festive family meal.
• Holiday Entertaining – Bake seasonal treats, prepare cozy holiday favorites, and discover simple ways to make guests feel welcome.
By the end of the series, students will have the skills and confidence to help host family celebrations, plan special meals, and create memorable experiences for the people they love.
