In May, our early childhood classes will meet weekly on Mondays and Tuesdays, from 10-11 am, on the following dates: May 4, 11, 18, and June 1 (Mondays); May 5, 12, 19, and26 (Tuesdays).
We will explore the theme: Breakfast Club! In this cozy spring cooking series, little chefs will explore beloved breakfast foods while building confidence and independence in the kitchen. Each week, students will practice foundational cooking skills as they prepare simple morning favorites. Along the way, we’ll support fine motor development, critical thinking, executive function and other important skills through hands-on, joyful cooking. Breakfast Club is a playful way to start the day and help young cooks feel capable, curious, and proud of what they create!
More generally, our early childhood classes feature multi-sensory exploration, learning, and play. These classes introduce our youngest petit pâtissiers to fresh ingredients and new flavors, as well as kitchen hygiene and safety practices. Together with their chef instructor, students will cook simple recipes that are designed to work on fine motor skills and build confidence in the kitchen, as well as stimulate your child’s curiosity and creativity. At the end of each class, students will enjoy setting the table and sharing the fruits of their labor with friends.
One caregiver must be present for each class.
