Summer camps at Le Petit Pâtissier
Unlock your child’s culinary creativity this summer! Join one or more of our week-long cooking camps, where each day brings a new adventure in the kitchen. From baking projects to exploring foods from around the world, your young chef will build skills, confidence, and explore new culinary frontiers while having fun and making delicious memories.
Summer camps meet for one week, Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 3 pm (6 hours per day), and are capped at a maximum of 8 students per class to ensure a highly hands-on experience and individualized instruction. Camps are open to students 6-11 years of age, and all activities are thoughtfully tailored to be developmentally appropriate for each child.
Each day, students will work on making their own morning snack, lunch, and dessert. While most of the day is spent cooking and baking, students will also take breaks from the kitchen to enjoy thematically-adjacent artistic and educational projects, such as making their own custom aprons, performing kitchen-related science experiments, and learning about countries and cultures connected to the foods we make.
Our camps feature fun recipes your child will be excited to make, high-quality ingredients, instruction and support from a classically-trained chef, and a copy of all recipes made so your child can practice and recreate them at home. A morning snack, lunch, and dessert (all made by your child!) are included each day. The week culminates in a Friday “tasting showcase,” where students proudly share some of their tasty creations with their grownup.
SESSION 1 : July 13-17
SESSION 2: July 27-31
Each week-long summer camp session is $650 per student.
Our summer camp is located in Carmel Valley (92130).

Summer 2026 CLASS SCHEDULE
For families looking for a shorter summer cooking experience, we also offer a selection of stand-alone cooking classes throughout the summer. These single class offerings are a great option for kids who want to spend time in the kitchen without committing to a full week of camp, or for students who want to explore a specific theme that sparks their interest.
Each class meets for 2 hours and gives students the opportunity to practice both culinary and pastry skills. Classes are thoughtfully designed to be hands-on, engaging, and developmentally appropriate, with themes tailored to specific age groups: ages 5–8, ages 9–12, and teens.
Single classes are $65 per student, and all ingredients, instruction, and recipes are included.
